Shawn Chohan – Calgary Pharmacist

Shawn graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2015 and brings over 10 years of experience in community pharmacy to his role as a co-owner and pharmacy manager of CurisRx Pharmacy in Harmony. His diverse background includes extensive experience in specialty compounding, pain management, men’s health, hormone consultations, palliative care, and working with a wide variety of patient settings, including group homes, nursing facilities, addiction centers, and even veterinary clinics.

Shawn is passionate about providing personalized, patient-centered care, ensuring every patient receives tailored treatment options. He prides himself on building strong connections with both patients and healthcare providers, always going the extra mile to meet each individual’s unique needs. Whether it’s navigating a complex medication regimen or finding creative solutions for health concerns, Shawn takes the time to truly understand his patients’ situations and works collaboratively with them to achieve the best outcomes.

Shawn is also committed to educating others and has enjoyed leading presentations on topics such as drug addiction and abuse as well as medication management for group home support workers. His leadership and commitment to innovation in pharmacy care have been recognized with the Young Leader Award from the College of Pharmacists Manitoba in 2017.
